The “From Caring to Curing” Campaign

Thank you to all the donors for the “From Caring to Curing” Campaign.

A special heartfelt thank you to the J.W. McConnell Family Foundation for its recent donation of $200,000, bringing us to a total over $1.8 million dollars in pledges, (June 20,2014).

The campaign has recently reached close to $2.25 million after a summer of hard work and generous donations from old and new donors, (September 16, 2014).

As Winter 2015 draws to a close (at last), we are pleased to announce that the campaign is just below $2.5 million. The additional $225,000 came in donations of all levels and from the four corners of southern Quebec, (see link below).

Recently the J.A. DeSéve Foundation of Montreal generously contributed $250,000, over 3 years, to the campaign. This donation targets the research & development project that involves pre-school children with budding behavioral issues. This brings the total campaign amount to just under $2.75 million.

The Bank of Montreal has just announced a 5-year pledge of $100,000 to the Arts Barn project of the current campaign. This brings the total of the project to $226,000, nearing the point at which the details of the construction project can be put into place. With a construction target date of fall 2017, we are a little more than $150, 000 short of the amount required to launch project ground-breaking. This important new building will allow for the upgrading of the mandate and activities of the camp for a diversified disabled client population and increased respite for their challenged parents and siblings.
