At the annual awards ceremony in early June, 2013, Bill G. Duke, the Treasurer of the Butters Foundation handed out 2 scholarships to deserving graduates of the English side of Massey-Vanier Secondary School, in Cowansville: (Left) The Lily Butters Prize of $1000 went to Miss Tristen Lalla, and (Right) the Butters Foundation Prize of $500 went to Miss Samantha Getty.
These scholarships are awarded each year and have become a standard part of the Massey-Vanier Graduation Awards evening.
